By state, within: Punjab 28% below to 12% above; Haryana 30% below to 10% above; Telangana 32% below to 8% above; Tamil Nadu 33% below to 7% above; Bihar 30% below to 10% above.

How the number was made
The level: each state's tractor registrations from April to September 2026 times the ratio October to March has borne to April to September in the seasons 2022 to 2024 (2025 left out: the GST cut of 22 September 2025 lifted that window). The tilt: 0.2% of the season for each point the 2026 monsoon's departure from normal (IMD, by subdivision) stood from the state's own 2022 to 2024 seasons. The band: wider than the method's misses in the seasons before. Counted from VAHAN's public counts, one catch-all office left out.
